Tessy Plastics—Elbridge, New York
Napierala Consulting was involved with the design development phase through the construction phase for this 96,000 square foot manufacturing addition. Detailed design plans including grading, drainage, utility, landscape, and lighting were provided. The storm water mitigation impacts and flood plain impacts were significant obstacles that needed to be addressed. All permitting and approvals were obtained.
During the construction phase; construction documents, construction assistance and weekly SWPPP inspections were provided.
Ray Fogg Building Methods/ Consolidated Precision Products Manufacturing Building—Village of Chittenango, New York
Napierala Consulting was involved with the design development phase through the construction phase for this 137,000 square foot new manufacturing building during the challenging time of COVID-19 where mandatory shutdowns occurred. Napierala Consulting worked with Ray Fogg
Building Methods to provide detailed layout plans including grading, drainage, utility, landscape, erosion, and SWPPP were provided. This project required the Long Form of SEQRA. Permitting was acquired through zoom meetings.
During the construction phase, construction assistance and weekly SWPPP inspections were provided. This manufacturing building and site amenities (parking, loading, ramps, sidewalks, curbs, etc.) were completed within a year and a half from start to finish.
FedEx Freight—Town of Nichols, New York
As a civil/site engineering consultant to the developer and design builder, Napierala Consulting provided services beginning with site layout and ending with construction assistance for this distribution center in the Southern Tier of New York State.
Our team worked closely with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for stormwater mitigation, sanitary sewer designs, and sewer pump station designs as well as water system designs. Our team also worked closely with the County for road designs. Coordination with a wetland consultant was imperative for this project to attain wetland permitting.
Cayuga Milk Ingredients—Town of Aurelius (Auburn), New York
Our design team provided right to build site civil engineering services for the Cayuga Milk Ingredients processing facility just outside of Auburn, New York.
This project includes an approximately 100,000 square foot milk processing facility on a 20-acre parcel within the Cayuga County Industrial Park. The site features include tractor-trailer unloading, loading, staging, storage and weighing areas as well as employee parking and pedestrian access.
The development is a ‘new’ build on a formerly vacant lot and as such, the project had to provide significant and detailed stormwater mitigation systems to minimize the runoff effects of the added impervious areas.
We worked with project team members through all aspects of the project including site feasibility, conceptual design, design development, zoning and site plan approval, environmental and local utility approvals.
Paychex Office Building—Town of Salina, New York
Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this 35,000 square feet office complex. With this project, the developer requested a fast turnaround of design and permitting services to both satisfy the future tenant, Pay Chex’s, immediate need for space and to beat the winter construction season. Within three (3) weeks of authorization to proceed, we presented the plans before the local planning board and received approvals in two meetings with the board. The project construction team was able to get the building enclosed before winter hit and the building was opened 9 months after project start.
NLX @ Airport Corporate Center—Town of Union, New York (Binghamton Area)
Our design team provided site engineering design services and permitting services for this manufacturing facility in the suburbs of Binghamton, New York. Site permitting including town, county and state review, negotiation and approval for site layout, drainage considerations and landscaping issues.
Conceptual design, building site placement, balanced cut-fill earthworks, utility coordination and design, and construction administration services were provided for this project.
F.W. WEBB Company—Town of DeWitt, New York
Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this 120,000 square foot plumbing supply distribution center. The project included placement of the facility and establishing delivery and supply truck routes and turning movements in and around the site.
This project required complete right to build services overseeing all local and state permits for the building program. The project permits included coordination and review with the local water authority, County sewer board, Army Corp of Engineers for jurisdictional wetlands, as well as the town and county planning boards.
The Hartford—Town of New Hartford, New York
Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this 150,000 square foot, 3 story office complex, located within a new office/ industrial park in the Town of New Hartford. With this job, we worked closely with the developer in first creating schematic plans for the complete office/industrial park. The park plans were reviewed and accepted by the town prior to proceeding to the site-specific development for the Hartford.
The Hartford project included local site plan permitting as well as coordination with the New York State Department of Transportation for both traffic impact and utility connections across a state highway. The project was completed on time and on budget approximately 15 months after the start of the initial design plans.
Homewood Suites—Town of New Hartford, New York
Our design team provided site engineering and permitting services for this 85-room hotel in New Hartford, New York. This development was the second hotel within a development tract. Site layout, grading, and utility designs were all completed and approved.
Hampton Inn & Suites—Town of New Hartford, New York
Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this hotel development project in the Town of New Hartford, NY. This project involved creating a conceptual layout, working with the architect to maximize the site while staying within Town codes, getting local permitting approvals, and construction administrative services. This project is a part of a multi-phase commercial development park.
In addition, we performed stormwater analysis in order to design and implement a stormwater prevention plan that meets NYSDEC requirements for water quantity and quality.
Fairfield Inn by Marriott—Town of Dickinson, New York
Our design team provided site engineering design services for a Fairfield Inn hotel in the Town of Dickinson, New York (north of Binghamton). This development included a pool building, walking path, and landscaping.
This project required designing the site infrastructure for connections to the public and private utilities to serve the site; as well as a drainage collection system to direct stormwater runoff from the site through the development park’s master drainage system to a regional stormwater mitigation basin.
We provided conceptual design, site plan permitting, utility coordination, construction bidding assistance, and construction administration services for this project.
Marriott Courtyard—Village of Lansing, New York (Ithaca Area)
Our design team provided site engineering design services for a Marriott Courtyard hotel in the Village of Lansing, New York (a suburb community to Ithaca). The site development included a recreational trail system and gazebo area with brick paver patio and grass swale drainage system. NAPIERALA CONSULTING designed the site infrastructure for connections to the public and private utilities to serve the site; as well as a drainage collection system was designed to direct stormwater runoff from the site to a nearby drainage channel.
