High Country Self Storage—Baldwinsville, New York

Napierala Consulting was involved from the conceptual plan with this new storage facility through completed construction. Several conceptual sketches were completed before one was decided upon. Perc testing was performed in order to design the septic system. Other design elements included a full set of detailed site plans, including a storm water pollution prevention plan. Design plans were presented, submitted, and approved by the Town Planning Board. In addition, approval by Onondaga County Department of Transportation was obtained for curb cuts. 


During the construction phase; construction documents, construction assistance and weekly SWPPP inspections were provided. Questions were answered to the New York State Department of Conservation regarding wetland issues.

ALDI Grocery Store—Village of Cazenovia, New York

Napierala Consulting worked with the development team to annex this subject site into the Village of Cazenovia. The annexation was required so that the commercial site could connect to the Village public water and sanitary sewer systems. Following the annexation Napierala Consulting provided detailed site plans for Planning Board approval and construction. 


During the construction phase, Napierala Consulting provided construction assistance and weekly SWPPP inspections.


Lowes—Oswego, New York

Our design team provided complete site design services for this development project, from conceptual site planning through the local permitting process approval to final construction plan development and construction administration services.


Beyond the typical site approvals that we lead the project team through (Local Planning Board, State Department of Health, NYSDEC, and NYSDOT) this project included relocation of a historical burial ground. All approvals were obtained in a timely fashion in keeping with a very tight and stringent project schedule.

Community Bank—Dewitt, New York

Our design team provided civil site design and permitting services for this new bank project in Dewitt, New York. All aspects of the right to build services were provided including jurisdictional wetland and flood plain permitting, local Planning Board approval, as well as NYS Department of Transportation permitting.

Madison Marketplace—Hamilton, New York

Napierala Consulting worked with the development team for the design, permitting, approval and construction of this retail hub outside of Hamilton, New York. The development included Price Chopper Grocery, Peebles, Family Dollar and Tractor Supply stores. Frontage parcels were developed into a regional medical practice and a drive-thru pharmacy.


Our design services included the implementation of a wastewater treatment system for the sanitary waste discharge and a well water system, inclusive of a fire supply water tower tank. Design elements included layout, grading, and stormwater management design.


Napierala Consulting led the design teams in the local permitting process and assisted the team in construction oversight of the site construction elements.

Kinney Drugs—Richfield Springs, New York

Our design team provided civil site design and permitting services for this new bank project in Dewitt, New York. All aspects of the right to build services were provided including jurisdictional wetland and flood plain permitting, local Planning Board approval, as well as NYS Department of Transportation permitting.

Finger Lakes Crossing—Town of Aurelius (Auburn), New York

Our design team provided site design services for all phases of this strip mall project. We worked closely with the developer from conceptual layout to store openings.


This project included coordination and meeting the criteria needs of several nationwide tenants including Home Depot, Kohl’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, Petco, Circuit City, Chili’s, and Buffalo Wild Wings.


Napierala Consulting worked with the project team to establish a Planned Unit Development Zone in the Town and obtain site plan approval. Water and sewer district services were negotiated and obtained from the City of Auburn. This project included an in-depth State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) as well as approvals from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Regional Department of Health (DOH) offices.

Widewaters Commons—Kinderhook, New York

Our design team worked with the Widewaters Group in providing this retail plaza development which included a Hannaford grocery store, a bank, and several small retail stores. Design services included a highway roundabout for proper site access as well as a fire water supply and commercial septic field.

Price Chopper—Town of Chenango, New York

Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this 65,000 square feet grocery store development. The project included conceptual design, town planning board permitting, cemetery relocation, NYS DOT permitting for highway improvements as well as stormwater mitigation design in conformance with the NYSDEC mandates.

Town of Brunswick, Village of Lowville, and City of Rome, New York

Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for Tractor Supply Company in the Town of Brunswick, Village of Lowville,  and the City of Rome, New York.  Each of these Tractor Supply sites had their own unique issues.  In the City of Rome Tractor Supply, the environmental review was critical to assure owner and tenant liability concerns were minimized.  NYSDEC stormwater quality measures were implemented and approved.


In the Village of Lowville Tractor Supply, a hitching post and horse and buggy parking were provided for the local Mennonite population.  In the Town of Brunswick Tractor Supply, implementation of a water quality bio-retention basins for the stormwater management system was developed.   All engineering was done in coordination with Tractor Supply Company to meet their specific requirements

CVS Pharmacy—Town of Malta, New York

Our design team provided site engineering design, permitting and construction services for this retail development project in the Town of Malta. This project involved coordinating with the national retailer, CVS Pharmacy, and the Town of Malta, in order to meet their specific design criteria. These criteria included optimizing building frontage to the nearby intersection and having a drive-through.


The project included planning board review and approval as well as maintaining NYSDEC regulations for wetlands and stormwater quality.

Cazenovia Equipment Company—Town of Cazenovia, New York

Our design team provided complete site engineering design services for this retail development in the Town of Cazenovia, New York. Our efforts followed an unfortunate fire which destroyed the previous Cazenovia Equipment facility.


Our services on this project involved creating a conceptual layout, working with the architect to maximize the site while staying within Town codes, getting local permitting approvals, stormwater management planning, and construction administrative services.
